OUR CURRENT RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Hey church family, though it seems like we’re living in a different world than we did last week, let’s talk about some things that will never change.
Our hope in Christ is firm. We can trust the Word of God. Trials will always happen on earth, but Jesus is King. God is in control.
As I said this past Sunday, blessed are the flexible they shall not be broken. That being said, we believe that we should do our best to pray for and support the authorities that God has put over us here on earth.
In order to adhere to the recommendations of our President, the CDC and our local health organizations, effective immediately no events and services will be held in our facility for at least the next 4 weeks.
So moving forward we’ll move our Sunday and Wednesday gatherings online. We believe these services will be powerful, Spirit-filled encounters, and we’re excited about the opportunity to reach out in different ways.
We’ll do our best to communicate when and where our content will be delivered online, and if it gives you hope be sure to like, comment and share with others.
While we won’t have events and services, our offices will remain open. Our staff will be available, and we’ll be working to minister to you however we can under the current health recommendations.
We know things can change quickly, and we’ll be constantly reevaluating the situation as we go forward.
We encourage you to continue to be the Body of Christ in this season. Love others well, gather together in small groups and be a light in the darkness during this challenging and uncertain time.
Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever."
Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Serve With Us
Did you know that you have a special, God-given gift that can make other people’s lives better? The Bible is clear that each person has a unique talent that is meant to be used to serve others, and we want to help you figure what that gift is and find a place you can use it here at Morningside, in your community and around the world.
As with everything else in life, we follow the example of Jesus who selflessly and willingly gave his whole life for others, and in our finances we should be just as willing to give generously. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Each person should give as he has decided in his heart — not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver.” While we do believe the tithe system set up in the Old Testament is a good starting point for believers today, we also know that when we sow generously into God’s Kingdom, He will abundantly bless our lives.
