Pastor Miguel Ybarra
Senior Adults Ministries Pastor
Miguel Ybarra has served as Pastoral Care Pastor of Restoration Church since September 2004. He is a native of Uvalde, Texas but moved to Colorado in 1954. In April 1961 he married Dora, whose father was the Pastor at the Spanish Assembly of God church in Wiggins, CO. Miguel became a Christian in July of 1962 and began correspondence classes through the Assemblies of God Berean School of the Bible.
Miguel held supervisory positions in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Indiana and finally in Sioux City. Always active in AG churches, he served as a Board Member, SS teacher, in Bus Ministry and Jail Ministry. He became a member of Restoration Church in 1982 and was credentialed with the IA District in April of 1988. He served as Pastor at Templo Glorioso Amanecer in Sioux City for 13 years and he returned to Restoration Church in 2004 to begin his Pastoral Care Ministry. He and his wife Dora have 3 children, Steve, Elizabeth and Toni; they have 5 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
